Quality & Testing
Last updated: April 2026Our Standard
Vital Research is committed to providing research-grade peptides of the highest purity. Every product we sell undergoes independent third-party testing to verify identity, purity, and composition before it reaches our shelves. We believe transparency is non-negotiable: if we sell it, we test it, and we publish the results.
Our standard testing protocol includes:
- HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) - to verify purity levels, typically targeting 98%+ purity
- Mass Spectrometry (MS) - to confirm molecular identity and weight
Additional testing methods may be employed depending on the product, including amino acid analysis, endotoxin testing, or sterility verification where applicable.
Batch-Level Tracking
Every product we sell is assigned a unique batch number that ties it to a specific manufacturing run and testing cycle. This batch number is printed on the product label and included in your order records. If you ever have a question about a specific product, the batch number lets us trace it back to the exact test results and manufacturing data.
Certificates of Analysis
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document from an independent testing lab that shows the actual test results for a specific batch. At Vital Research, COAs are not an afterthought - they are central to how we do business.
- COAs are available for every batch of every product we sell
- COAs are published on the product page before you buy, not buried in a support email
- Each COA includes the testing lab name, methodology, purity results, and batch number
If you need a COA for a specific batch that is not currently displayed on the product page, start with the Testing Results archive. For anything not listed there, email us at contact@vitalresearch.us with the batch number and we will provide it.
Ongoing Quality Control
Quality does not stop at the initial test. We implement ongoing QC measures throughout the product lifecycle:
- Storage conditions: products are stored in temperature-controlled, light-protected environments per manufacturer specifications
- Inventory rotation: we follow first-in, first-out practices to ensure products are shipped well within their shelf life
- Supplier vetting: we work with established, audited synthesis facilities and periodically review supplier performance and testing consistency
- Packaging integrity: products are sealed and packaged to prevent contamination and degradation during transit
Important Note
While we take every reasonable step to ensure product quality and accuracy, Vital Research does not guarantee that any product is suitable for a specific research application. It is the buyer's responsibility to determine suitability for their intended use. All products are sold for research use only and are not intended for human consumption, medical use, or any unauthorized purpose.
